Case Study
The M&E and Gaming industries moved to the cloud faster than most — but the tooling didn't keep up. Studios needed their artists working remotely without sending production data outside the company network. Render farms had to scale on demand without waiting weeks for hardware procurement. And the solution had to work across regions, across clouds, and across clients with different existing stacks. The challenge wasn't just technical — it was architectural: building something flexible enough to be deployed repeatedly, across different organizations, without rebuilding from scratch each time.
Renaiss designed and deployed a multi-tenant, multi-cloud VDI solution built to be reusable at its core and customizable at its edges. The foundational layer consists of Terraform modules that convert a cloud region into a fully operational company site — VPNs, Active Directory connectors, and custom gateways configured to deliver high-performance remote desktop connectivity with low latency and high refresh rates.
On top of that layer, a web platform gives admins direct control over dynamic cloud resources across AWS EC2 and Azure AVD. The architecture was designed for flexibility: each tenant can integrate their own cloud services or on-premises resources without modifying the core. New clients onboard fast. The infrastructure holds.
Artists and engineers onboarded from anywhere in the world, without relocating hardware or compromising access quality.
Global render farms connected directly to data sources — no bottlenecks between the artist and the final output.
Cloud workstations replaced physical setups, eliminating procurement cycles, maintenance costs, and hardware obsolescence.
Data never leaves the hybrid environment. Artists access it through industry-standard remote protocols — efficient and secure by design.

A single core architecture that spins up across customer accounts in days — not months.

We assessed each client's existing infrastructure, security policies, and artist workflows to define the right multi-cloud configuration before writing a single line of code.
We deployed Terraform modules to convert cloud regions into fully operational company sites — including VPNs, Active Directory connectors, and custom gateways optimized for remote desktop performance.
We configured high-performance remote desktop protocols to deliver low-latency, high-refresh-rate connectivity to artists working from any location, without exposing company data to the public internet.
We connected global render farms directly to client data sources, replacing slow local pipelines with cloud-accelerated workflows that scale with production demand.
We built a web platform for admins to manage dynamic cloud resources across AWS and Azure, and designed the onboarding flow so new tenants could go live fast — with minimal friction and full security from day one.
